Quest 4 GTX boots
Initially I was very happy with them and even though they were a bit stiff I was sure with use they would soften up, but the hard plastic the laces are mounted on is still sticking into the top of my foot and doesn’t seem to be softening up, I’m a bit disappointed considering they were so expensive
Not as good as my old pair
The flap on the side just serves to collect seeds and gravel. An unnecessary design feature. Otherwise, it is a good boot.
Best yet
Everything I expected, walked the day they arrived, no problems, comfortable, light and moisture free, 100 plus kilometres and very happy
They are a great boot, this is about my tenth pair straight. First time I have had that strong tieback (third from the top). It is very difficult to attach and remove the boot lace, I dont think it was a good modification.
