5mm deep lugs on the outsole, protective toe cap and a full GORE-TEX membrane offer all the outdoor adventure protection you need.

    comfortable hiking

    My previous Salomon OUTline shoes were wearing a bit thin after several trips walking through the French and Swiss Alps. The shoes were great for travelling because they worked well on mountain trails, climbing steep rock faces and could still be used as (semi)formal shoes for going out at night. This meant I only needed to take one pair of shoes for my trips. The new ones look like being just as good - great shoes.

    Size issues.

    Too narrow. Sizing not accurate. I take a UK 11/ US 12 and these were at least a .5 size too small. Gave them to my son.

    Comfortable and Light

    Very comfortable walking shoe, walking over 10 kms, no problem. Surprised by how light weight they are.

    4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
    5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
